After reading through last year's entries from x-mas, I can easily say that this was a 190% improvement over last year. We spent the 24th having a quiet evening in with just my sister, her husband, mom, dad and me. We ate...a lot...and opened presents, then ate a lot more. I've also played about 10 games of Lord of the Rings Monopoly since I went home. I love that game.

The 25th was spent lazying around, sleeping off the food for a while, and then we went to my cousin's house to poddle around over there and play with the kids, etc since they don't get to see Chelle and I that often. (probably once a year, to be precise) Then drove home. Well, we drove MOST of the way home. Once we got to Watertown, we got pulled over and found out the the registration on the car was suspended for unpaid parking tickets :eek3: and we got a $75 citation for that, plus the cop was supposed to take the plates. I think he cut us a break, he took the front plate and claimed that the rear one was too rusted on to get loose, which I highly doubt but wasn't about to say anything since the guy was probably putting himself in a reprimandable position were we to run on him and not pay the citation and come back for our front plate. As it stands, we have the car parked outside, we'll be taking the bus to work until Wednesday when we can get to the bottom of all of this.
