With the center being down, I can't post this in the "annoyances" topic, so I'll throw it out here just to get it off my chest.

Drama:
Not just any drama, but the stupid drama of highschoolers. It's easy for anyone to say "you were exactly the same way" but that's bullshit. I was never like what I see now. The way some people act makes me want to leap right up and strangle them, and I would've felt the same way 4 years ago when I WAS still in HS. This "I like her, but she likes someone else," drama, and the "I like her but I'm too much of a pussy to say anything." drama, but most importantly, I hate the "I like her and her and her and her and her but I can't make up my mind which one I...HEY STAY AWAY FROM HER!" drama. That, however, is just the drama of the Center. Beyond that, there's the drama at work. God forbid you expect a crew of highschool girls to actually get WORK done. They'd much rather just stand around and talk all night, then scoff at you when you expect them to actually go DO something. I'm really happy for the nights that Amelia called in sick, had time off, or didn't come to work at all, because I was stock supervisor on those nights and, being a lead, I could deal with them accordingly. Now I have the power to break up a conversation circle simply by walking past it. It's good...'sgoood.

Oh well, no sense in NOT making this a full blown update. We've been bumped back up to getting shipment 3 days a week during the holidays. Too bad they still can't give us enough fucking people to get one days worth of shipment done, so it piles up and piles up until one of us gets bitched at for something that's COMPLETELY not our fault. Shipment crew is the bitch of Old Navy, primarily because we don't have anyone to go to with our problems. I can go to Amelia, but the managers want to see her fired so it's not like they'll listen to her even if she DID work up the nerve to actually say something, chances of which are slim and unlikely. They're the only ones who will give me my time off for Christmas, so I have to stay around Old Navy until after the new year. The job market always drops after that, so I'm sure I'll be working there until next summer. Good God I hope not.
