Okay, I need to throw together a couple paragraphs of mindless ramblings so I don't have any pictures staring me in the face when I view my blog. :)

Order #1: The weather. I have to stand outside, scanning boxes in -4 degree weather. Also, there's approximately 16-20MPH winds, dropping the wind chill down to a frightening -27. I'm the retard that doesn't own a proper winter coat, or gloves, or a hat, so I'm planning to layer on as many clothes as I can. I'll probably look like an idiot, but it'll be ok, since I won't be an ice-cube by the time the truck is done.

Order #2: My job. I get to do all of the work of the supervisor, without getting the pay she had, or the hours she had. It's kind of a good deal for management, however, since they get all the work for less money. Now I get to stand outside in the shitty weather, scan the boxes and open them and just marvel as everyone stares blankly instead of helping. Plus I get the added bonus of nobody listening to me if they don't damn well please, since I'm not really a supervisor. On top of all of that, while doing two people's jobs and attempting to cram 8 hours of work into a 5 hour shift, I have to peddle in-store credit cards to the public, who really doesn't want them, while taking time away from my actual job to do it.

Order #3: Money. There isn't enough, and there needs to be. My hours are slowly dwindling and it's starting to affect bill-paying, etc. Not to mention that it's tax time, and the tightwads over at taxfreedom.com have severely limited who is allowed to use turbotax for the web for free, and it doesn't include us. Add to that the fact that Michelle's raise apparently put her in a higher tax bracket, and now we'll just barely have enough money to cover what she owes the school. So much for getting something nice with the "tax return money" or even paying back the bills we're behind on.

Order #4: Life. I've reached that point in my existance where I think I should be accomplishing something. However, I'm just shuffling from one dead-end job to another to another, with no real prospect of accomplishing anything with my life. I want to go back to school, but that's just not feasible at this point since we only have one properly running car and just barely enough money to pay for the gas we use, let alone paying for gas to go to Whitewater every day. As it stands, I'd be happy with factory work. 6-3 every day, 5 days a week at $8/hr has a nice ring to it at this point. Perhaps.
