Oh My Fucking God I'm tired of the sap/betty loveydovey soap opera. They're nuts about each other and that's wonderful for them, but is there any reason why, on God's green earth, that we have to hear about it any time one of them posts next to the other? Baka and Woofie never did that, Michelle and I certainly don't, and Atama and Margo didn't used to until now, simply because Atama feels guilty for not professing his undying love every time sapwood does. I don't know how much of that is his insecurity and how much is her being a bitch, but she certainly comes off as someone I wouldn't enjoy sharing a relationship with. They may think they're proving to everyone that they love each other, but from an outside perspective of someone who actually knows what love is and what it means to hold onto it, it looks like they're trying to prove it to themselves because they apparently need to convince themselves that they're in love. Not only is that wrong on many levels, it's annoying to everyone that has to watch from a third-person perspective. It's quickly approaching time for me to ask them to cool it. Sapwood owes me a favor anyways, and Betty, when she's not being a bitch is occasionally my friend. Rather than getting all gestapo on them and telling them what they can and cannot say, I'll simply ask them to respect that not eveyone wants to read their lovey-dovey bullshit in every other topic. Hell, I only read Betty's LJ every couple weeks because I can almost guarantee that every other entry will involve "nessy" and how great he is and how much she misses him, etc. It's her life and her private LJ, so it's certainly not for me to judge what she says in there, and I don't. I just hop right over it onto the next entry. Once it's permeating the forums like some kind of sublimated sugar-vapor that makes everyone around sick from the sweetness of it all, then it's my territory and my job to do something about it.
